Delay services


If passengers are in the departure lounge, they will be provided with adequate and timely information on the status of their flight every 30 minutes, as well as on the minor flight, the delay, cancellation, diversion, assistance, compensation, refund or alternative transportation that are derived or are applicable.


MANTIS AIR, in case of incurring a delay of more than 30 minutes from the scheduled time and approved by the Aeronautical Authority of the country and that is attributable to it, the carrier airline will offer passengers assistance based on the stopover time on each route and up to the final destination, providing special and priority assistance to people with disabilities or special needs, medical conditions, pregnant women, adults over sixty years of age inclusive, children and adolescents and their companions.

For the purposes of applying the assistance plan in case of delay, it will be understood that this definition applies up to a maximum of (6) continuous hours on domestic flights and twelve (12) continuous hours for international flights.

This right of assistance refers to the supply of non-alcoholic beverages, snacks or complete meals depending on the time it is necessary to wait as reflected in the attached table.

Flight cancellation


Assistance in Case of Flight Cancellation


When the delayed flight is declared canceled due to causes attributable to the air carrier or Air Line. Affected passengers will be offered:


1. Accommodation in hotels in cases where it is necessary to spend one or more nights, as well as the corresponding transfer hotel-airport, airport-hotel.


2. Two telephone calls according to the affected destination (national or international) which will not exceed three minutes in duration. Messages by fax, emails and any other means of communication.


3. Alternative transportation or reimbursement will be offered to affected passengers. If the reimbursement is requested, it will be made in a period that will not exceed sixty (90) business days, either in cash, check, transfer or agreement signed with the passenger through a travel voucher or other service of the full cost of the Ticket in the price without including taxes in which it was acquired corresponding to the part or parts of the passenger's initial trip, together when a flight or return ticket to the original point of departure as quickly as possible and at the convenience of the passenger.


4. Once the trip has started, it is interrupted by a fortuitous event or force majeure, the carrier is obliged to carry out the transport of passengers and luggage using the fastest possible means until leaving them at their destination, unless the passengers choose to reimburse the part of the price proportional to the unrecognized journey without including taxes. The transporter will also bear the reasonable costs of living and lodging arising from any interruption. In the event that the trip has not started, and unforeseen events or force majeure arise, the carrier is not obliged to pay any compensation.


In cases where the passenger is informed of the cancellation with less than ten (10) business days in advance and no less than twenty-four (24) hours from the departure of the flight and agrees to take another flight that allows him to replace the canceled flight, MANTIS SERVICES INTERNATIONAL & MANTIS AIR will be exempted from compliance with the provisions, relative to: Assistance, compensation, reimbursement, by virtue of which this other flight will be considered as a new contract, which will govern the corresponding periods and obligations.


MANTIS SERVICES INTERNATIONAL, will be exempted from the aforementioned assistance and compensation duties, when it notifies and confirms the cancellation of the flight to the passenger, with a minimum of Ten (10) business days in advance with respect to the day of departure foreseen in the transport contract .

Pregnancy

The transportation service is provided without restriction for women before 30 weeks (28 in the case of PERU), as long as their pregnancy is not high risk, it is the passenger's responsibility to report these cases

In the case of pregnant women, they should not travel by air if the gestation period exceeds 30 weeks (28 in the case of PERU), unless the trip is strictly necessary. In any case, such passengers must sign and present to the carrier a document endorsed by a medical certification about their fitness for the trip, discharging the responsibility of the company for any eventuality arising from their condition during the flight.


The medical certification issued by a specialist in obstetric gynecology must have the following conditions:

• Origin and destination of the Flight

• Dates of departure and arrival

• Gestation weeks

• Be issued within ten (10) days, before the flight


Bear in mind that these conditions may vary depending on the country of origin or destination.


Wheelchair

• The passenger must approach the check-in module to take the service

• You must request the Service 48 Hours before the flight through the call center, this service will be confirmed in the check-in module.

• For international flights, the passenger must show up 3 hours before flight departure

• If the passenger cannot fend for himself, he must be accompanied by a person of legal age who does not present limitations, he must have his ticket paid.

• Own wheelchairs powered by batteries must be sent under the warehouse without additional charge to the passenger, the batteries must have the terminals protected against shorts.

• Wet or acid batteries are restricted for transport.


Migratory Data


Make sure you read all the criteria and requirements before your trip. If you do not have all the documents in order or do not meet at least one of the required requirements, you may not be able to board the aircraft.
